French National Driving Competition in Chablis Opens to International Competitors

Sport

The French national driving competition in Chablis, taking place from 31 July to 2 August, will welcome international competitors for the first time this year. Foreign drivers are invited to take part in the event, which will be run under the French national driving regulations.

The organising committee has appointed a combination of national and international officials. The Ground Jury consists of Marion Lhote (National Elite Judge), Marie-Pierre Bruneel (FEI Level 3 Judge) and Anne-Marie Turbe (FEI Level 4 Judge). The marathon and cones courses will be designed by Jacques Tamalet, an FEI Level 4 Course Designer.

Entries

In addition to the sporting competition, the organisers are keen to preserve the friendly atmosphere for which the event has become well known. Throughout the competition, several social activities will be organised, including a “Soirée des Régions”, giving participants from different regions and countries the opportunity to meet and spend time together.

International competitors wishing to enter can contact the organising committee directly via vignaud67@gmail.com or +33 6 18 09 71 14. The organisers will then assist with the necessary entry formalities. Please note that competitors must obtain official permission from their own National Equestrian Federation before participating.
