Entry List Published for CAI and Dutch Championships Harich-Gaasterland

Sport

The entry list for the international driving event in Harich-Gaasterland has been published today. The event, scheduled for 24–28 June, will also host the Dutch Championships for single, pair and Four-in-Hand pony drivers, as well as the Dutch Championships for single and horse pair drivers.

One notable absentee is reigning Dutch Champion Larissa Jansma, who will not be defending her title with Dandy Jane. The mare has been dealing with a superficial wound for some time, which has been slow to heal due to its location on a highly mobile part of the body.

“Even if the wound heals in time, she hasn’t been able to train enough to be ready for such a demanding competition”, Larissa explained at the end of May.

“With the FEI World Championship for Single Horses taking place in Munich in early September, we’re pleased to welcome a strong field of single horse drivers this year. We’re looking forward to an exciting and competitive event,” the organization said.

Defending Dutch Champion Stan van Eijk will return to contest the Horse Pair Championship. In the pony divisions, defending champions Dirk Bastiaansen, Jelle Leliveld, and Marijke Hammink are all entered and will be back at Harich-Gaasterland to defend their titles.
