
Jodie McKeone Passed Away
Australian Para Driving athlete Jodie McKeone has passed away following a short illness, her family has announced. McKeone won the Grade I individual bronze medal at the 2023 FEI Para Driving World Championship in Exloo, the Netherlands.
Her family announced that McKeone passed away peacefully around midnight after a short illness. In a statement, they have asked for time and privacy to process their loss.
McKeone represented Australia internationally in Para Driving. One of the highlights of her sporting career came in the Netherlands, where she claimed individual bronze in Grade I at the 2023 FEI Para Driving World Championship in Exloo. Two years later, she finished twelfth at the 2025 FEI Para Driving World Championship in Lähden.
Her family said they shared the news of her passing with great sadness and thanked everyone for their understanding and for giving them the time and space they need.
