European Championship Youth: Germany in the lead
Today marked the final day of dressage at the FEI European Championship Youth Driving. The U25 Single Pony and U25 Pony Pairs were the final two classes to enter the dressage arena.
Luisa Dietrich (GER) produced the best dressage result of the entire championship today. Together with her pony White Socks, she scored an impressive 43.87 penalty points this morning to win the U25 Single Pony class.
Second place went to Sophia Routledge (GBR) with 50.94 penalty points, while Vilde Hede Valen-Sendstad (NOR) completed the dressage podium.
U25 Pony Pairs
There are four competitors in the U25 Pony Pairs class at this year’s European Championship. Dániel Saur (HUN) won the dressage today with 51.94 penalty points. He is closely followed by two German drivers, Jonathan Grüber and Michele Schildt.
Team Competition
With all dressage tests now completed, the first standings in the team competition are also known. Germany currently holds the lead. The Netherlands follows in second place, less than four penalty points behind, while Great Britain currently sits in third place.
