CAI Oberhausen will not take place after all
SportAt the end of 2025, it was announced that the organization of CAI Bühl, together with the equestrian center in Oberhausen, would host an international driving competition from August 5 to 9. The event was scheduled four weeks before the World Championship for single horses in Munich, and many drivers planned to use the competition as a final preparation.
This week, the organizers announced that the event in Oberhausen will unfortunately not go ahead.
Written confirmation
“We deeply regret that the annual meeting of the driving club in Oberhausen decided not to proceed with the international driving competition in early August. We had already received written confirmation from the board and had been working at full speed on the organization of this event for more than two months.
“In addition, we had already received commitments from participants from eleven countries, more than twenty volunteers, and even the first sponsors. We are very disappointed and frustrated by this decision and the waste of time and energy,” the organization stated.
